Light amber. Vaguely fruity hoppy character. Nice balance with a slight juicy acidity. Good brew.

Cask and Pembury Tavern. Enjoyable and well-balanced golden ale with a hint of grapefruit. Nice session beer.

Grumbo (2951) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2013
Cask handpump at Cornubia, Bristol. Quite an unappealing extremely pale gold / straw colour. Frothy head initially, which soon went. Dry and hoppy. Not great I’m afraid.

Cask (St. Radegund, Cambridge)
Nondescript aroma, some fleshy fruits. Simple sweet bitter. Thin and a bit watery, but at least it’s nice and bitter - very dry hops.

HogTownHarry (6925) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 19, 2011
On cask at Southampton Arms - August 19, 2011. Hazy slightly oily-looking light gold with a decent but smallish frothy/creamy white head. Aroma of honey and heather, quite hop-forward (grassy/herbal) - a tad sweet, but fairly classic golden ale. Taste is about the same, less honey, more grassiness plus some dry straw, and creeping alcohol. Average body, slightly chewy, some light carbonation, has a medium length finish, a light bitter grapefruit pith aftertaste - refreshing.

fonefan (49423) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2011

Cask (handpump) @ Pembury Tavern, 90 Amhurst Road, Hackney, London, Greater London England E8 1JH

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light dried apricot. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101203]

Cask (handpump) at the Pembury Tavern, November 2009. Surprised to find I hadn’t rated this before. Very bright clear straw colour. Fresh grassy aroma. Pleasant clean, fairly hoppy stuff. May be a bit of a one-trick-pony but does what it does (and, presumably, intends) very well.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2009
Yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Little vanishing white head. Lemony and yeasty aroma with mild hops, rather thin aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is similar with lemon and yeast dominating, aftertaste dries.
