BeardedAvenger (743) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2017
Cask at Alfred Free House, Upper Hale, 16/03/17. Surprisingly muted aroma - a vague dark fruitiness. Dark and oil-esque. Thin beige head. Light bitter. Gradually develops a mocha sweetness. Vanilla. Soft carbonation. Creamy but too watery IMO. Long coffee finish. OK, but somewhat muddy and too low key. Christian (13605) - Odense, DENMARK - FEB 24, 2017

9th April 2015: gravity pour at the Isle of Man CAMRA beer festival. Very dark: black even, with a beige head. Malts rule the roost here, some dark chocolate and coffee notes in both the nose and taste. Fairly dry palate with a liquorice flavour arriving late and behind the other aforementioned malty flavours. TBone (17442) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 11, 2015
