Cask @ The Pembury Tavern. Light golden color with a small head. The nose is fresh orchard fruits, light malts and sugary dough. The taste is red apple, some apricot jam and delicate caramel. Soft, dry finish. Pleasing if forgettable.

downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2012
Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 1/07/2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Like others, I found this had a corny, dusty edge to it, with some fruit sweetness and bitter finish. Not a beer I would rush to try again.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2014 1) Cask gravity, Northampton BF, Delapre Abbey, 25/05/12. Straw gold with a brief head. Banana and hay aroma. Grassiness, lemon, softening wheat and corn. A bit tired and mealy. The dreaded ’catfood’. Rate as you find. 2) Cask, Bricklayer’s Arms, Luton, 25/01/14. Brilliant gold with a low white head. Soft sulphur on nose; lager malts, limey hop, hints of earthy dank English woods. Lime on wafer mineral character; vanilla mid bitterness, hint of corn. Likeable if a bit throwaway. 646313.
