Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Light straw coloured pour with a white glass hugging head. Slightly floral aroma, leading to a nice smooth bitter flavour. The palate is weak. A nice ale, but could do with some work to make it special.

Cask (Cambridge Blue, Cambridge)
Grainy, but nice fresh crisp hops. In some ways simple. But it’s refreshing and uplifting with the lightness of the grains and the nice bite of bold hops.

sm89walt (2065) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 14, 2012
Cask - The White Lion, Norwich. Fine though lasting bubbly white head, crystal clear bright golden yellow body. Fresh grassy, delicately floral, lemon profile. Highly moreish and drinkable with a subtle biscuity sweetness in the mix. Light to medium body, really crisp, firm and fresh on the palate, lightly spritzy carbonation, medium length hoppy finish. Ultimately a solid light golden from an ever reliable brewery served in great condition.
