Tap at Milwaukee Ale House. Unfiltered burgundy brown body. Respectable beige head. The cinnamon plum tea shines through in the aroma. Big, luscious Dubbel at first sip, but the tea gives it a sugary, sweet feel. Another beer where you wish they left it free of adjuncts. On tap at Milwaukee Ale House during MKE beer week 2013. Copper amber with a thin tan crown. Aroma is spicy and sweet with caramel and some breadiness. Taste is sweet and spicy as well with nutmeg, caramel, bready yeast and a spicy finish. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 30, 2013
On tap at Milwaukee Ale House. Poured deeper garnet with a short-lived beige head. The aroma picked up tangy coriander and cinnamon over sweet fruits and caramel malt.. spicy and aiight. The flavor found sweet fruits and caramel surrounded by coriander, nutmeg, and other related spices.. some orange peel too.. tangy, spicy finish. Medium-bodied and very heavily spiced on the palate.. low-moderate carbonation.. just OK overall.
