Draft at MAH. Red brown, steady off white/beige head. Malty, with lots of fruity amber malt and ale tones. Some chewy nuttiness in the finish. Medium to full bodied, relatively straightforward. Mellow subdued hop balance. OK. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 15, 2011
On tap at Milwaukee Ale House. Poured a nice shade of medium amber with a sufficient dose of head on top. The aroma picked up earth and citrusy hops (mostly lemon) over nutty and caramel character.. just a tad too restrained, but otherwise good. The flavor found similar malts, picking up a little fruit.. more bitter than expected, showcasing lemon zest and pine.. well-balanced and tasty. Light-medium bodied with a smooth flow through the palate.. very drinkable!
