COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full hop regiment attributes to a fresh citrus aroma and earthy flavor all balanced by lightly toasted malts. Not long ago, workers would be called to their union mandated beer breaks with the pull of the chain activated steam whistle. Beer bucket boys would hustle cold brew out to the workers before they returned to the production line. Our Pull Chain Pail Ale is a tribute to the working men and women who built this great city. Back to work!

Draft at the Ale House. This is a golden-amber beer with a thin body, but a big sticky head. It drinks with a super heavy body, definitely malt-centric. The finish has just a little earthy hop to it. (#5146, 7/5/2013)

Binny’s bottle enjoyed after a day at the Rockford Discovery Museum chasing kids. Way over carbonated. Seriously nothing but soapy head when poured. Good flavor when you can find it under the bubbles. I think my chest might explode!

On Tap - nice looking beer - light amber, creamy head. Resin and light citrus aroma. (Based on little experience in this area), it is an American style, a little more roasted malt and a lttle less of the floral notes then an English style. Pleasantly refreshing on the palate. Overall a solid beer.

beerbaaron (2046) - Arizona, USA - NOV 24, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 Medium amber color with light sticky head. Sweet citrus, light pine aroma. Crisp and clean. Flavor follows nose. Like all other MKE brews, very flavorful, very drinkable, and well balanced

Hazy orange, head dissipates quickly. Strong nose of orange and peach. The hops are resin and the malt is tangy. Like much of Milwaukee Ale House’s line, this is an excellent standard example of its style but lacks distinctive traits.

doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Citrus and malt sweet bubblegum aroma. Copper, frothy white head and nice lacing. Citrus, grass, hay, and mild malt taste notes. Dry with lasting bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

wlajwl (7076) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Aroma is citrus, fruit and a mild hint of pine/resin. The flavor is citrus, fruit, malts and a sour/tart twang in the finish.

3.2
kaser (6382) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Pretty good. Easy drinking. Nothing special. Golden pour. Little head. Yeast and wheat for this style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
