COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full hop regiment attributes to a fresh citrus aroma and earthy flavor all balanced by lightly toasted malts. Not long ago, workers would be called to their union mandated beer breaks with the pull of the chain activated steam whistle. Beer bucket boys would hustle cold brew out to the workers before they returned to the production line. Our Pull Chain Pail Ale is a tribute to the working men and women who built this great city. Back to work!

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours hazy amber with fluffy white head, has sweet but yet hoppy aroma to it, has flavor of malt over hops, nice example of a pale ale.

Sample @ Brewery. Sweet citrus hop aroma. Dark copper body color. Good citrus grapefruit flavor. Little sourness on the palate. Good refreshing beer should of had a full glass of this one.

a cloudy copper yellow hugh w/ a thin white head w/ great lacing... the smell was grapefruit (light) and pine needles.. the palate was thin and carbonated. The flavor was mildly hoppy w/ a sort of stale finish overall I was unimpressed and wouldn’t drink this again.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2015 Hmm, well this wasn’t bad but there is just something weird about all the Milwuakee Ale house beers. Maybe it is the yeast? Almost a soap like flavor? Maybe I was there on the wrong night? Serving: Tap

12 oz bottle. Pours a translucent brass color with a small white head that slowly recedes to a film. The aroma is mild with barley and a tiny bit of apricot. The taste is sweet&biter with caramel and lightly spicy hops vying for domination. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes short and dry with some lingering spicy hops. overall: Another meh beer.

Dirty Orange Coloring. Hoppy and Dry. Not My Favorite Offering Here, but Still a Decent Ale

ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JUN 16, 2007
Draught at pub. Green hop aroma. Nice balance. Nice aroma. Tastes very similar to Solomon Juneau, but a little stronger. Nice lace. Hazy amber. Not materially better than Solomon Juneau. Scores better mainly because of the aroma. Not bad. Cask qualities.

Tasted 8/15/10. Sampler from the Brewpub. Filtered with a golden hue. Trace ring of white head. Aromas of bitter, earthy hops, grass and orange rind. Medium to full bodied with a great dichotomy between the bright and the bitter. Good bright citrus hop palate. Also a nice zesty bitterness. Flavors of grass, orange and grapefruit. Great mix of two different styles with more so on the English dry side. Solid brew!
