COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full hop regiment attributes to a fresh citrus aroma and earthy flavor all balanced by lightly toasted malts. Not long ago, workers would be called to their union mandated beer breaks with the pull of the chain activated steam whistle. Beer bucket boys would hustle cold brew out to the workers before they returned to the production line. Our Pull Chain Pail Ale is a tribute to the working men and women who built this great city. Back to work!

Pours a light copper with a puffy white head. Sweet fresh hoppy and sweet pale malt aroma. Body has a nice thickness to it with good complexity and hop flavor. Fresh crisp clean finish with a light fruitiness. A very nice APA.

Amberish color with a good sized head. Aroma of strong hops and spice. The taste is quite hoppy, but a large blast of malt that balances it out. Very solid pale ale and quite tasty.

A very good PA, especially when it’s a session beer served with the handpulled tap. Strong hops, nice appearance, and floral aroma. A nice all-around beer.

My favorite beer at the Alehouse. Rich malts, chewy texture, chololate overtones. A great hearty brew.

Interesting hop nose that brings orange and grapefruit, along with grassy fields to the nose. Flavor hops start the ride and then reveal a nice rich malty body that isn't exactly caramelly, but sweet nonetheless. Bitter end is quick and strong, leaving behind all of the ingredients for a mighty hops belch!

mmm...filled with hoppy goodness. The little bubbles popping on my lips from this feel good. Damn, I get drunk easily!

Had this along with the Louie’s Demise, which was on cask. The Pale is a quality brew, reminding me of Bell’s Pale. Solid, light fruit, tight body. A good APA.

Draught at pub. Green hop aroma. Nice balance. Nice aroma. Tastes very similar to Solomon Juneau, but a little stronger. Nice lace. Hazy amber. Not materially better than Solomon Juneau. Scores better mainly because of the aroma. Not bad. Cask qualities.

This beer pours deep orange and has a very strong head. The hops shows firm in the aromas giving the classic grapefruit notes. The palate enahces the same citrus notes and give a nice balanced bitter finish.

Tasted 8/15/10. Sampler from the Brewpub. Filtered with a golden hue. Trace ring of white head. Aromas of bitter, earthy hops, grass and orange rind. Medium to full bodied with a great dichotomy between the bright and the bitter. Good bright citrus hop palate. Also a nice zesty bitterness. Flavors of grass, orange and grapefruit. Great mix of two different styles with more so on the English dry side. Solid brew!
