pale coppery orange with a white head.
it smells mostly of orange, grass, sweet grain and spicy hops.
caramel malt flavor stands out in front of citrus, earth, grass and a touch of spice on the finish.
medium bodied with a little extra oomph from the malt. 6/3/6/4/14/3.3 XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAR 20, 2011
Nice hop smell and light golden amber color. The taste is similar to most Ipas, more bitter than normal. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Citrus and malt sweet bubblegum aroma. Copper, frothy white head and nice lacing. Citrus, grass, hay, and mild malt taste notes. Dry with lasting bitterness.

On tap at the Ale House. Poured a clear medium amber with a dusting of white head and some nice lacing. Aroma picked up sweet caramel and toffee maltage, oranges, and grapefruits.. nice components that were decently blended... sweeter as it warmed. Sweet caramel and grapefruit in the flavor with pine and floral bitterness... rather simple... back-end found sharper diacetyl and bitter notes that were not as pleasant. Medium-bodied. Smooth front of the drink transitioned rather poorly to the sharper, bitter back-end. Just OK. Brigadier (3665) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - SEP 29, 2007

I’ve seen this place a few times at the Great Taste of the Midwest and when driving through Milwaukee. I’ve never had their beers until now. It turns out they make a decent product. It wasn’t earth shaking but I would certainly be glad to have a place like this locally.
Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy copper body had a slight off white head and minimal carbonation. The scent of wheaties, malts and hops formed a pleasing collection of aromas.
Flavor / Palate - The first sip reminded me of hopped up sour mash. Caramel, bitterness and peat followed. The spruce finish was a nice touch. The body was a little thin. I found this an ideal summer beer.
aroma is salty lemon grainy malt. pour is blackening center sunlight, hazy, with film head and some lacing. flavor is lemon pine with some lime. balanced with near pilsner grain in background. SHANER4 (500) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Bottle 12oz. - Poured lighter copper color with chunks floating and staying suspended. Head is off white and retained small head throughout!
Aroma - lemony hops and damp hay. It also smelled like a barnyard!
Flavor - bitter astingent and pungent hops mixed with sour lemon taste, not that bad!
Palate - medium bodied with sticky texture. Finish is bitter and sour! Lemony sour aftertaste lasts a while.
Overall - Quite a bit of flavor for a pale ale, had salty lemony taste thats not that bad. Could use more malt sweetness to balance it out! Frank (4172) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 2, 2012
This pours cloudy pale orange into the glass and is topped by a small soapy head. Bright citrus up front, this wanes to an earthy, grassy bitterness balanced by a slight sweetness. Soft but vigorous carbonation suits the light texture, making for a drinkable beer that is not at all watery. Some lemon notes come out in the finish as well as perhaps just a slightly overstrong amount of bitterness. This is almost a home run. I could see some slight adjustments making this really excellent. kaser (6213) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Pretty good. Easy drinking. Nothing special. Golden pour. Little head. Yeast and wheat for this style.
