UPDATED: SEP 24, 2007 Pours to a hazy copper body with a thin white head. Nice lacing. The flavor has tons of hops. Saaz, citrus, sweet caramel malts. Iced tea. The aroma is Saaz hops. A bit light. The palate is bitter and medium bodied. Bright, clean, and good carbonation. 6, 4, 7, 4, 14 = 3.5

Had this on cask. It’s marvelous and I swear a different beer. It’s hoppy as all get out. Sweet pineapple and a very nice toasted malt. Bitterness is average but the hop flavors are extreme. Smooth palate goes down really easy. I could slam this beer quite easily. Pours to a glowing brassy body with a dissipating white head.
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2007 I like this beer, and it’s way underrated. They must use fresh hops. It’s very dry, and crisp. One of my favorites from one of my favorite breweries. JPDIPSO (6238) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 26, 2002
Deep golden color with a modest off white head. Aroma of a fruity pils. I like one. Reminds me of an ale I made once with a pils hops schdule. Malty, lightly fruity, and hopped like a pils. Quite quenching and satisfing. JoeM500 (1908) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - JUL 14, 2003
An ale disguising as a golden lager with plenty of grassy, earthy saaz. Refreshing on a hot Summer day along the river, this is the perfect sessionable pint. Some light fruitiness comes through as it warmed. Crisp as a bohemian lager. DasBierChef (1083) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 14, 2012
Really, quite tasty. And refreshing. And good for a hot summer day, like when I was there.

On tap at the Milwaukee Ale House Brew Pub. I tasted this one side by side with the regular tap version and a cask version. Poured a medium to deep amber color with a small sized off white head (cask was darker and lightly cloudy). Aromas and tastes of caramel (stronger in the cask), citrus (some oranges) and grassy hops. The Saaz hops make this beer. Nice, crisp taste with a slightly hoppy character, borderline English pale ale. Caramel malt contribute to the sweet, dryness. Slightly bitter and full. Surprisingly good. ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JUN 16, 2007
Draught at pub. Citrus aroma. Decent. Cloudy orange. Nice lace. Nice doughy aspect. Session qualities. Has cask characteristics; creamy, subtle. Tastes a little like the Saaz hops were fresh instead of dried. A pretty good session brew that is a tad on the dry side. Has subtle hop. Deserving of its relatively high style ranking. A little underrated. Petrucci914 (910) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2008
Pours a golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is slightly wheat and yeasty, with some citrus and floral hop characteristics. Taste is about the same - very refreshing. satan165 (1020) - River Grove, Illinois, USA - JUN 14, 2010
aroma is half decent fruits with soft tangerine at forefront. appearance is some lacing, little head, decent carb. translucent polished golden sunshine. flavor is fruits from nose combined with tolerable cereal grains. mouthfeel is lightly chewy, perfectly medium bodied.
