Great looking beer. Smells fruity and tart. This beer has a bunch of complex fruit flavors and spices, clove and stuff. A little dirty but good.

Light copper with a tiny bit of haze - soapy lace - nose is very sweet, with strong apricot and mango notes, light rye, light starchiness - low carbonation - flavor is quite sweet - moderate apricot, peach, and very lightly musky pineapple - husky rye late - some starchy and doughy yeast - sweet and mildly spicy finish - not much of a saison. As soon as I smelled it I knew I wasnt going to be something I enjoyed. Unfinishable for me. mrjaxson (587) - .08 Junction, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 29, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2013 Lots of different aromas (spruce and pepper) and tastes (bitter and sour) going on here. Nothing overwhelmingly successful, but in MKE you always appreciate the effort! esoxangler (100) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 28, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2013 For me, undrinkable. Awefully strong malted taste with no freshness from any hops crispness or anything. Just a heavy, malty disgusting beer with that belgian clove and earthy flavor. I’d rather drink boxer lager

Pours orange with frothy white head. Citrus on the nose with bits of bready yeast and alcohol. The classic smell of a belgian with some tangerine hints as well. Taste is sweet but also astringent with sour and bitter notes. Finishes dry and crisp to make for a delicious beer jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Hazy gold, with decent, creamy, white head / Medium body, sweet, some sourness, decent balance with lightly bitter finish / Flavors of sour malt, banana, spice, and caramel / Below average. ccex (1313) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2013
12 oz bottle pours an almost clear red/amber with moderate white head and some lacing. Aroma has banana, spices, rye, and vanilla. Body is medium with average carbonation and a lively mouthfeel. Easily drinkable with nothing wrong, but far from one of the great saisons. Lubiere (13911) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 26, 2013
A golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with peaches, light woody terpentines. In mouth, a smooth sweet saison with orange notes, ginger, decent. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 23, 2013
This is a nice saison; above average. It has a nice peppery nose and a citrus and spice flavor. Cloudy yellow appearance with super carbonation. Got this from Josh N. after the winter beer tasting. 2012.
