This is a nice saison; above average. It has a nice peppery nose and a citrus and spice flavor. Cloudy yellow appearance with super carbonation. Got this from Josh N. after the winter beer tasting. 2012. jackoffasour (2) - - JAN 22, 2013 does not count
Bottle. This is a beer I would give to someone new to craft beers. Very smooth but also complex. Orange comes through both in color and taste. I would love to try this again. MaltOne (380) - Wisconsin, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Pours a clear, slightly bubbly, red tinged gold, with a medium, finely laced head, disipatesquickly. Earthy aroma, with citrus, banana, spice. Flavor is initially slightly sweet, followed by a noticeable rye note. Medium body. Overall good session ale - the one I go to when at Milwaukee Ale House. The label description is pretty accurate. rumproasts (5592) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 4, 2012
bottle. golden with one finger head. strong citrus with slight tartness. light bodied, but decent flavor. virtually no funk, but decent for a cheap beer. drywallman (367) - Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA - NOV 27, 2012
This one poured a hazy golden with a long lasting head. Malt flavors were grainy with a touch of cereal, I assume due to the rye. Hops were indeed citrusy with a touch of herb, making it the great saison/session beer it is. Very drinkable.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 Hazy dark amber, frothy, sticky head. flavorful and well balanced, easy drinking. Nice spices. Some sweet some bitter. Not the best and juuust a bit off for the style, but very very good. Nice originality. MarinEvelyn (854) - Wisconsin, USA - NOV 24, 2012
fresh citrus, slightly rustic smell. Nice light golden amber color. Orange, citrus, possibly vanilla taste. fairly smooth finish. SuIIy (1983) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy apricot with a big fluffy white head. Nose is sugary and lightly cereal. Palate is quite carbonated. Flavors of light sugar sweetness, possibly infected.

Sharp aroma typical of Saison. Nothing special about the appearance but slightly darker for this style of beer. The rye flavor is neither overwhelming or unpleasant. Clean finish!
