Pours orange with frothy white head. Citrus on the nose with bits of bready yeast and alcohol. The classic smell of a belgian with some tangerine hints as well. Taste is sweet but also astringent with sour and bitter notes. Finishes dry and crisp to make for a delicious beer GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2015
Amber pour with a light beige head. Aroma is a slight funk, yeast fruit. Taste is light fruit, refreshing, palette cleansing. Tasty with nice lacing. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2012
12 oz bottle. I find the label and six pack motifs pretty obnoxious, so they’re not starting off on the right foot. Aroma of apricot, husk, wheat, mild citrus. Flavor is dominated by an inferior yeast strain. Lots of peach and apricot flavors, mild huskiness. Some apples, some caramel. Better than I thought it might have been. Medium bodied. Pretty average. A very very mediocre farmhouse. Still easy drinking and refreshing, and there is something to be said for that. wlajwl (7006) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Aroma is mildly spicy yeast, cream and a hint of fruit and malts. The flavor is citrus, berries/grapes, a hint of spice and a tart and malty finish.

Bottle as part of a variety pack. Orange brown color with a very slight haze and a creamy white head. Spicy yeast aroma with a hint of sugars. Flavor is more spice with a yeasty bite and a bit of creamy malt to smooth it out at the end. Light-medium bodied with a smooth palate. I don’t normally like farmhouse ales but this one goes down pretty nice. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - NOV 24, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 Hazy dark amber, frothy, sticky head. flavorful and well balanced, easy drinking. Nice spices. Some sweet some bitter. Not the best and juuust a bit off for the style, but very very good. Nice originality. drywallman (367) - Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA - NOV 27, 2012
This one poured a hazy golden with a long lasting head. Malt flavors were grainy with a touch of cereal, I assume due to the rye. Hops were indeed citrusy with a touch of herb, making it the great saison/session beer it is. Very drinkable. rumproasts (5546) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 4, 2012
bottle. golden with one finger head. strong citrus with slight tartness. light bodied, but decent flavor. virtually no funk, but decent for a cheap beer. ccex (1350) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2013
12 oz bottle pours an almost clear red/amber with moderate white head and some lacing. Aroma has banana, spices, rye, and vanilla. Body is medium with average carbonation and a lively mouthfeel. Easily drinkable with nothing wrong, but far from one of the great saisons.
