Bottle with many thanks to Drake! Pours golden-orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is way more tangerine than it is grapefruit - somewhat sweet smelling, the ruby grapefruit. Flavor is tangy ruby grapefruit - very juicy especially on the back end, with some pine and floral notes as well. Easy to drink and very tasty.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma has bitter citrus and rind with grains backing. Flavor has a good amount of blood orange with a strong grain backbone and a hint of orange peel.

Tap at MAH. Big pink grapefruit juicy tones. Unfiltered orange body. Good, but truly tastes like you dumped pink grapefruit juice into an IPA. OK.

Oh man...this sucker gets CLOSE to Grapefruit Sculpin territory, but it’s off by a hair. I should have those two side-by-side to see if that is a stupid statement, but I don’t think it is. It’s light amber/golden with a filmy off-white head. Nose is tons of grapefruit juiciness and some citrus hopping. Juicy, juicy, juicy. Taste is the same, with a dry, bready malt base, orange and grapefruit all over the place, and some sugary sweetness. The orange juice sweetness kills it a bit for me, as does the overpowering grapefruit juice. I mean, it’s good, but it tastes and smells TOO much like juice for me. Dial it back a bit and as long as the beer underneath is good, this is a gem.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2018 Light amber color with a modest off-white head. Scents of candied grapefruit, fruit punch and just a hint of grain. Sweet start, and a quick shift to day and bitter. Thinner feel does not help. Mildly acidic. The dry bitter finish makes this less then enjoyable.6/3/5/3/11-2.8 Bottle 2. 3867 Milwaukee Ale House Grapefruit IPA Ar- 5 Ap - 2 Fl - 5 P - 2 O - 9 Rate 2.3 Sounded like a gusher… thankfully not. Pours like a gusher… managed to suck the foam before it landed on parts unwanted. So, light golden color of the ounce of liquid beneath the fifteen ounces of light beige foam in my teku glass. Rocky top. Grapefruit Lysol scent. This would be an excellent replacement for the baking soda and vinegar in a volcano science project. Part of me want to rate appearance at five for the lasting head, but this is just not right! Peppery flavors from the foam sucked off the top trying to reach some liquid. … some time later… mild acetic scents. First quaff, light malt with a bit of sourness. A bit like and overripe grapefruit. Some circus peanuts and more acetic bits.
