A solid go-to IPA. Nice balance of malts and hops with a slight bite. Definitely a session IPA. DrnkMcDermott (3176) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Single bottle from Binny’s Build-a-Six rack. Nice copper IPA color with a thick, slightly orange-ish head. Slightly citrus and pine hop smell. Taste is up front with hop bitterness. After a thousand IPAs, it gets hard to say what makes one different from the other, but this does have a slightly larger malt backing, even if it does support a pretty standard hop balance. But as a year-round beer, you can’t expect too many non-repeatable variations. ThirstyBird (3020) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 2, 2014
Pours a hazy amber color with a tan head. The smell is apple, caramel, vegetal, resin. The taste is pine, caramel, apple, fruit grapefruit ending dry and bitter. Light/medium in body with average carbonation. Fairly sweet and malty. drsordr (2930) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JAN 17, 2014
Bottle pour copper. Nose dank hop and earthy malt. Some metallic. Taste also dank and earthy, some bitter early. Noir all that appetizing. cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JAN 22, 2011
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a dark copper/amber with a nice white head and lacing through out the glass, aroma has a decent citrus and hop touches to it, the flavor has a little sweeter than I’m used to for an IPA but it still works, nice smooth finish, decent.

[Bottle] Bright amber color with a quickly receding white head. Nose is of grassy and floral hops. Malty backbone features biscuit and caramel. Astringent hoppiness of grass and pine also make an appearance. Prickly carbonation. Very mediocre. ryanfolty (2655) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - MAR 6, 2014
March 6, 2014 - bottle at Iron Horse. Copper pour with nice head that lasted. Aroma and taste of piney hops and malt. Nicely balanced with clean finish. MIBRomeo (2579) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Cloudy off brown pour tall dense light tan head with nice lacing. Fruity light citrus and grass aroma. Avg palate. Quite sweet subtle bitterness in the swallow. Easy to drink. rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 4, 2016
Thanks to D&S. An old school micro brew IPA, hoppy but not a hop bomb like today’s IPAs. Decent drinkable stuff. rather malty. Serving: Bottle arkurzynski (2460) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Deep orange pour with off-white head. Nose is sweet caramel and vegetal pine hops. Sweet caramel malt upfront, lightly toasted, with more vegetal and somewhat minty hops. A little slick and heavy on the palate. Pretty gross.
