COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship brand; this medium bodied amber ale starts with a rich malt flourish that’s kept in perfect balance by a smooth hop finish. This MKE original is similar to a German style alt beer.

Louie’s Demise pours a cloudy and dark amber color as the scent of roasted malts erupt from the bottle. It is rather thin in texture but has a rather bold taste of malts with a nice mixture of hops. A very interesting brew!

12 oz bottle exploded into huge overflowing off-white head. Once I wiped it up and things settled, the color was cloudy amber. Aroma has considerable nuts and spices. Body is light to medium with average carbonation. Taste is slightly spicy, slightly bitter without much of a finish. OK beer, but I’d like to try one that doesn’t erupt.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 An exceptional beer. I usually find Amber Ales a bit bland/boring but this is so flavorful and pretty well balanced. Leans to the sweet side. Bit of bitter. extremely delicious. Pretty original.

dark amber. lightly bitter aftertaste, but barely noticeable. Lively taste, hard for me to pick out anything particular, just a good tasting beer. Possible slight wheat, woody taste, though I may just be grabbing at branches trying to come up with it’s flavor is. Nothing particularly awesome, just a good quality, yet somewhat average beer.

Pretty good for an amber, (not usually my go to).. Pours cloudy brown.. Some weird fruit aroma.. Taste is sugar, eggplant, and who knows, but its diffrent and pretty good in my book..kinda suprised i liked it, not a huge amber fan

Pretty tame for an amber ale, with none of the bite that can come with the genre. Good lookin’ on the pour with a nice aroma that’s more caramel than spruce, although they’re both there. Somewhat thin on the body, and a taste that’s a little sweet and a little bitter. Solid offering from another little guy bringing good brewing back to Beertown.

I like parts of this beer, but not the whole. Great looking beer with nice deep color and fluffy head. But wow there are some weird funky, stale hop notes interplaying with some fairly sweet carmely sweetness-- on top of the roasty smokey malt backbone one expects from this category. Would like to try it fresh / on tap, as this just doesn’t taste right to me out of the can.

I love milwaukee beers! This is a great one and accessible to those who are new to the beer scene ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice amber body with a large head. Nice retention that brings back the froth again and again. Caramel, and fruit in the aroma and flavors of caramel as well. A pretty tastey brew, but a little too malty for an amber ale.

Smooth beer. In between their pale ale and IPA. Light-medium body with a hop foundation but nothing strong.
