Our flagship brand; this medium bodied amber ale starts with a rich malt flourish that’s kept in perfect balance by a smooth hop finish. This MKE original is similar to a German style alt beer.

A good ale, with a decent, drinkable flavor. Didn't have a glass so hard to rate head and cooler very well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Copper color poured with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel. It is light bodied with some light metallicness in the taste.

Keg at Anodyne Coffee House, 8/24/16. Clear reddish copper, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted caramel malt and stone fruit. The taste is caramel malt, jammy strawberries. Thin-medium bodied, simple but drinkable and pleasant.

On tap at Miller Park. Plastic cup, blah. Brew City, watching the Brew Crew, and there are few craft choices in the park? Sweet red malts. Decent.

MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - JUL 14, 2015
Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Clear, rusty amber with a 2-finger beechwood colored head and good lacing. Aroma of caramel, toast, sweet malt and a bare hint of hops. Taste of intense malt, caramel, a little toast, brown sugar and a touch of citric hops. Medium body and medium carbonation. A fairly sweet malt bomb. Nothing offensive, but nothing endearing either. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[Bottle] Amber colored pour with little head. Aroma is of dusty malts, caramel malts and a light roast. Sticky caramel, brown sugar, crisp hops and a bit of nut in the flavor. Light carbonation. Creamier than their other beers. Nothing crazy in the flavor department, but the texture and body is pleasant.
