Bottle at the brewery. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that lasts through out the beer. Aroma has a nice hay and grain note with a hint of backing grassy notes. Flavor has a bit more earthy grass upfront with notes of hay that are joined by grains in the finish.

DuffMan (10451) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 25, 2013
On tap @ the Über Tap Room in the Wisconsin Cheese Shop, Milwaukee. Grainy, a little corny, caramel. Pretty blah, but that’s the style I suppose.

Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 31, 2008
On tap at Milwaukee Ale House. Poured brighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up toasty pale and fruity notes with hints of honey.. picked up a hint of pineapple on the back. The flavor found sweet pale malts and lesser caramel at the core with light herbal and hay-like bitterness around.. finished very sweet and candy-like. Higher carbonation on the palate, and again, it was very sweet.. this would’ve been considerably better if it dried out some.
