Very ’safe’ tasting. Will not blow your mind nor disappoint you. Light in color as it should be. Block (2688) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - SEP 27, 2012
Had this as part of their variety pack. Gold pour, white head. Aroma of wheat and grass. Light. notalush (5866) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 11, 2013
Pours a dark gold - no head - nose is very sweet, smelling a lot like honey - some floral hops and light toasty Vienna, but mostly just sweetness - flavor is quite similar - very sweet, tasting like honey and/or syrup at times - moderate grassy and floral hops and a light toastiness do not do enough to balance - not exactly bad, just one dimensional and overly sweet. This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 31, 2008
On tap at Milwaukee Ale House. Poured brighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up toasty pale and fruity notes with hints of honey.. picked up a hint of pineapple on the back. The flavor found sweet pale malts and lesser caramel at the core with light herbal and hay-like bitterness around.. finished very sweet and candy-like. Higher carbonation on the palate, and again, it was very sweet.. this would’ve been considerably better if it dried out some.

Solid beer to have with food. Cleanses palate and leaving you wanting more. noncaloric (684) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 7, 2009
Clear, effervescent dark gold with an everlasting off-white head. Aroma combines light, worty malts with a strongly vegetable element reminiscent of asparagus. Flavor somewhere between spicy and skunky, cinnamon, grass, dusty cellar, sulfur. No single flavor is off, but they come together disharmoniously. Medium body, effervescent on the palate. arkurzynski (2406) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 15, 2011
Amber with yeast floaties. Toasted malts, earthy hops, and a touch of vinegar(?-old/bad bottle?). Even, toasted malts. Some cardboard. Quite dry, with a low to medium hop finish. Pretty choppy and not altogether smooth and crisp for a lager. Medium mouthfeel. BVery (10312) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - APR 28, 2012
Bottle at the Casanova Beer Cave festival. Light gold pour with a foamy white head. Grain, earth, and a light hoppy finish. Just okay. Cousin_Larry (893) - - MAY 15, 2014
Tapper at Milwaukee Ale House. Pretty much an average beer in every regard. Not much more for me to say.
