COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pitch black milk stout is teaming with rich roasted malt and coffee flavors. The addition of milk sugar tames these intense flavors with a silky sweetness. A very easy drinking, full bodied beer. This beer gets its’ name from the Milwaukee landmark, the Allen-Bradley clock tower, who locals fondly call “Polish Moon”.

Sampler at the brewpub. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of coffee, cocoa, dark fruits and some smoke. The taste was similar to the aroma with more coffee, cocoa, dark fruits and smoke with mild carbonation and a sweet aftertaste. Decent.

Keg at Milwaukee Ale House. Black, large creamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, smoke, coffee, chocolate, lactose. Taste is smoke, roast, chocolate, lactose. Medium bodied, creamy, lingering bitterness. Very nice.

Dark black translucent color with minimal tan head and very little lacing. Aroma and flavor have thin roasted malts, light cocoa, and slight coffee. Simple and thin. Okay overall.

Opaque black brown. Light tan head. Intensely sugary nose, coffee, some earthiness. Quite bitter, strongly sweet. Heavier body, somewhat creamy mouthfeel, longish finish. Pleasant enough.

On tap at their Grafton location, pours An almost opaque brown with deep ruby highlights and a rich tan head. The smell is black malt, licorice, molasses. The taste is roasted malt, a bit of char, some molasses sending dry. The body is light + with a tick above average carbonation.

Very average sweet stout...nothing really sticks out... Drinkable but not that enjoyable....(#546)...

12 oz. bottle poured into a CCB snifter.

Dark brown, but not completely opaque with a quickly receding light brown head. Almost gone by the time I got to the table with it.

Roasty, bits of chocolate. The smell isn’t overwhelming. What I would expect from a weak stout.

The taste is immediately chocolate and coffee bitterness, giving way to... nothing. It has almost no back end flavor. Nothing gross or sickly, which I was a bit afraid of. Just nothing.

Very watery, not thick at all. High carbonation makes it feel like coffee made from club soda.

Nothing overtly offensive, just not worth drinking.
