This pitch black milk stout is teaming with rich roasted malt and coffee flavors. The addition of milk sugar tames these intense flavors with a silky sweetness. A very easy drinking, full bodied beer. This beer gets its name from the Milwaukee landmark, the Allen-Bradley clock tower, who locals fondly call Polish Moon.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a dark brown almost black with thick khacki head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, lactose and a little skunkiness. Taste is pretty thin for a stout. Some sweet lactose flavor with mild coffee and cocoa flavors. Mild bitterness. Overall an average to below average sweet stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown pour. Aroma is full of Rich, roasted malts. Flavor is a healthy mix of coffee, malts, faint chocolate and very faint hop undertones.

12 bottle pours a reddish brown with a tan head. Roasty aroma with some corn Im afraid. Very light-bodied. Light roast flavor, some sweetness like shortbread. Just eh.

A Sweet Stout that isnt very smooth. It has a sharpness to the carbonation that forces me to downgrade just a little.

12 oz. bottle. Pours black with a good off-white foam. I, however, did not like this one. The coffee/cocoa flavors are very overpowering and it is not easy to drink. The finish is unpleasantly dry. Others at the bar who tried this agreed with me. Just another over-the-top micro brew whose color promises a lot, but whose flavor leaves a lot to be desired.

Bottle from local restaurant. Pours black with a creamy tan head leaving some lacing. Aroma has some roast, cocoa and lactose. Taste is sweet cocoa, some lactose and some roast. Not too sweet, as the bitterness fights in. Medium bodied with no real alcohol presence. Finishes sweet and bitter, with lactose. Decent offering, not badly done for style. 13.4

Poured a very dark brow - nearly black - with a light beige head that quickly faded to lacing. Aroma was of roasted malts. Taste was also of roasted malts with hints of smokiness and coffee and a mild to moderate hop finish. Palate was decent. Overall, a very drinkable and smooth milk stout.

On draft at Milwaukee Ale House. The beer is black with a small beige cap. Roast and chocolate, slightly sweet. Really straightforward beer. Easy drinking and sessionable. Smooth on the palate, finishing with just a hint of lactic character. A tad sweet with some chocolate milk characteristics. One of the better beers from MKE.

On tap at the Milwaukee Ale House. Some nice roast malt flavors, but Im torn because this is in no way a sweet stout or milk stout. Its a good roasty porter. Id give it above a 3 for flavor, but a 2.5 for style at best.
