2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
The aroma is the best thing about this sweet stout. The pour is thick and viscous, and has a rather foamy, tan bubbly head. The taste of this one is STRONG- an intense roasted flavor, which may have appeal to some, but didn’t to me, and I love stouts known for roast flavors. Polish Moon, we were just not meant to be.
Sampler at the brewpub. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of coffee, cocoa, dark fruits and some smoke. The taste was similar to the aroma with more coffee, cocoa, dark fruits and smoke with mild carbonation and a sweet aftertaste. Decent. Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 2, 2017
Keg at Milwaukee Ale House. Black, large creamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, smoke, coffee, chocolate, lactose. Taste is smoke, roast, chocolate, lactose. Medium bodied, creamy, lingering bitterness. Very nice. b33r (875) - Ohio, USA - DEC 30, 2015
Dark black translucent color with minimal tan head and very little lacing. Aroma and flavor have thin roasted malts, light cocoa, and slight coffee. Simple and thin. Okay overall. Aggiebob (1252) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Bottle. Black with a thin tan head. Roasted malt aroma with a creamy coffee flavor. markducommun (1212) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 19, 2015
Opaque black brown. Light tan head. Intensely sugary nose, coffee, some earthiness. Quite bitter, strongly sweet. Heavier body, somewhat creamy mouthfeel, longish finish. Pleasant enough.

On tap at their Grafton location, pours An almost opaque brown with deep ruby highlights and a rich tan head. The smell is black malt, licorice, molasses. The taste is roasted malt, a bit of char, some molasses sending dry. The body is light + with a tick above average carbonation. Black with a small, tan head.
Milk chocolate, dark , sweet coffee aroma.
Taste is fairly hefty....sweet dark chocolate malt, cream, roasty coffee.
Pretty nice. shrubber85 (11570) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 12, 2015
Bottle. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and hay aroma. Black with small head. Sweet milk chocolate, coffee, roasted barley malt, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Good body. Very pleasant. johnnymusky (983) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 6, 2015
Very average sweet stout...nothing really sticks out... Drinkable but not that enjoyable....(#546)... ctipping (2202) - Florida, USA - JUN 17, 2015
12 oz. bottle poured into a CCB snifter.
Dark brown, but not completely opaque with a quickly receding light brown head. Almost gone by the time I got to the table with it.
Roasty, bits of chocolate. The smell isn’t overwhelming. What I would expect from a weak stout.
The taste is immediately chocolate and coffee bitterness, giving way to... nothing. It has almost no back end flavor. Nothing gross or sickly, which I was a bit afraid of. Just nothing.
Very watery, not thick at all. High carbonation makes it feel like coffee made from club soda.
Nothing overtly offensive, just not worth drinking.
