Draught at Marciero. Fruity malt, biscuit, honey, bit mild floral hops, fairly dry finish. Simple and quaffable but not really one to seek for. cattrall (55) - Midlevels, HONG KONG - APR 1, 2015
Tried on tap in Craft Beer Brim in Fukuoka. A pleasant pale ale. Very smooth and soft on the palate. Bartender said it had a muscato grape texture which - amazingly - is correct - though he assure me there is no muscato grape juice added which some beers OMG do. A bit too sweet nonetheless. Hops is noticeable. Well balanced. Not a world class beer but very drinkabLe indeed. Pity it’s so expensive! GenDV138 (7467) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Small glass on draft at Bakujun shared by KansaiBeerLvrs. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of malt, citrus, light apple. Tastes of citrus, malt, light wheat. Medium-light body with a dry finish. KansaiBeerLvrs (5234) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 11, 2014
On tap at Bakujun. Minami Shinshu Golden Ale 5% a nice clear gold pour with a minimal head. The nose is quite nice halfway between a blonde ale and a pale ale mild fruity hop goodness. Medium bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. The taste is fruity, a bit malty with some tangy yeast notes. Not bad.

Bottle from Yamaoka. Very light gold colour, looks like a pilsner. Aroma is citrus with some pine. Flavour has lots of pine and crackers, some citrus, almost no hops. Drinkable, but not what I expected from a golden ale. petewhitley (570) - Nagoya, JAPAN - NOV 17, 2013

Tap at Shinshu Sake Mura. Clear golden colour, small creamy white head. Aroma is malty, slight fruitiness. Taste is malty, biscuity, slight spice. Quite crisp. Nothing wrong with it, but not so exiting. KyotoLefty (10523) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 8, 2011
Bottle. Thin gold color with lace. Aroma of grass and citrus hop, pilsner malt, crackers. Grainy, crackery flavor with a bit of honey. Ok bitterness, though not much hop flavor. Bland but quite drinkable.
