Bottle sample @ Edmonton Craft Beer Festival. Similar in appearance and aroma to the Vienna, but maybe a little more tea-like or earthy. Still predominantly watery caramel with a bit of buttery character. Just not thrilled with these guys at all.

A: Reddish amber with almost no head N: Bitterness, sweetness and a faint hint of toffee T: Medium bitterness, some caramel notes and mild roast P: Thin O: More reminiscent of a red ale, but drinks well.

Gourmand, Oaxaca. Creamy cap on clear malty dark orange. Sweet malty nose. Body is grainy amber. Watery malt. Slight bitter. Not great.

33cl bottle. This is a generic pale ale, some citrus and herb character and malty, not undrinkable but boring.

It pours a clean rich golden / amber color with a small white head. Aroma is malty and biscuity with light grassy bitterness. Taste has more biscuit and malty notes, medium sweet and lightly grassy dry bitter. Light to medium bodied with ok carbonation. Overall, decent

Pours amber with a copper tint. Off-White head. Clean malt aroma. Very light lace. Malty taste with a little bitterness. Malt for an American Pale but balanced enough it’s good.

Bottle in Sayulita. So happy to find a store with some craft brews. A nice brownish caramel color. A balanced malty flavor with a nice finish.

HKdIPA (819) - HONG KONG - FEB 4, 2015
Bottle at Chino. Deep copper brown pour. Malty aroma. Taste is also very very malty and only slightly bitter - maybe the English-ness? Not anything special and too deeply malty for me.
