This beer pours a dark brown with a moderate tan head and smell of toasted coffee and light cocoa. It has a pronounced roasted coffee flavour with slightly sweet cocoa notes concluding with a subtle, well balanced, hop bitterness.

Such a sweet choco flavour beer like lovely beaut woman of Africa. Delish like nice box of Patchi chocolate from spl store at Jeddah market or even wedding favour gift of splendor. Very thick like glorious ass and nice for sipping, relax and enjoy.

Pours black with a chocolate milkshake head. Scent is cocoa powder, malt. Taste is creamy chocolate, subtle coffee, slight roast.... Very slight chocolate bitter.. Not bad, but very one-sided. Tastes basically like melted chocolate ice cream.

Bottle. Pours a thick near-black color with a huge tan head on it. Taste is actually a little bit dry - almost like a dry stout. Has some roasting in there, but not bad. Not a lot of substance to this.

Bottle, this stout had a brown-black pour and made a one finger light tan & tan colored head that receded to a thin cover, it left some spots and fingers of lacing on the sides of the glass, this beer had aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, some caramel, malt sweetness, it had flavors of roasted malt, chocolate, chocolate syrup, the finish had a little bitterness with some malt flavor following, the mouth feel was thin and felt a little syrupy on the palate, it had average carbonation, the nose and flavor of this beer was typical of a cheap beer, nothing special here, no definition to the aroma or flavor, a poorly made drink.

Just plain tasteless really. Very disappointing beer. Especially with the higher price point. Avoid.

Best summarized as "eh" when it comes to stouts. Pours a deep brown with thin tan head, minimal lacing. Aroma is strong of cheap chocolate. To be exact, I felt like I was indulging myself in horrible Palmer chocolate. Didnt have anything going for it other than the price.

Bottle BWCS. Poured a black color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate toasted malt and chocolate aroma. Medium chocolate sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a soft beer that just met my expectations.

Always suspicious of BWBs. No, not BBWs, even if there is reason to be. BWBs brewed with beers. The fruity, barely beer category is littered with these obvious offerings. And somewhere lurking behind there always seems to be some brew conglomerate doing it and doing it poorly. Ive never heard of Rhinelander (or Minhas or whatever it used to be and cant be bothered to explain on its website) but my local Trader Joes is full of em. And this isnt so obvious, or poorly done.

STYLE: American Stout

ABV: 5.4%

LOOK: Were not breaking any ground here. Dark but not oily with a brown-butter head.

NOSE: That delicate balance of sweet and bitter and tang. Chocolate cake, vanilla, subtle orange, medium roast coffee.

MOUTH: If its possible, almost too easy drinking. I want and indeed need a little bitter bite, preferably at the middle of the end. Just-warm coffee, wisp of smoke, chocolate. Not a game-changer, just solid.
