Looked good. Dark brown with a nice head. Thin chocolate and off-aroma. Flavour is malt, chocolate and a flavour that seems like an infection or something off in the brewing.

Spontaneous tasting with presario and others whom we wont mention for their safety. Pours dark brown with a frothy khaki head. There is chocolate in the aroma but you have to fight through a weird scotch tape sweet chemical thing to translate it. The palate is essentially the same. The chemical trait became so distracting as to make this undrinkable after several sips. Presario thinks infection but it has been in a number of beers from these guys. I think that its just crap brewing skills and crap product. These guys are aggressive marketers but their products are pure shit.

Is that a Daal sheep on the logo? It sure doesn’t look like a Billy Goat and this sure doesn’t taste like a bock. Its major redeeming quality is that it doesn’t look that bad in the glass with its brown body and large tan head. But bocks aren’t suppose to smell like skunk, grain, alcohol and salt and they don’t taste like chewy cement and burnt dark malt. Lifeless crud.

Looks good (dark black like cola with a beige creamy head that stays but goes flat). Smells good (nutty aroma). Tastes strange. Like artificial flavoring. Not the malty flavor one expects from a bock. This actually...well...... it sucks!

twindadplus2 (737) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 20, 2008
Deep brown with a decent creamy, tan head. Aroma of nutty, roasted malt and a slight hops astringency. Flavor is a bit of roasted nuttiness and a hint of chocolate with the slight astringence of the hops throughout. Creamy, slightly watery palate with minimal carbonation. None of the flavors are terribly dominant but they’re all there and mesh pretty well. For the price, it’s not a bad beer.
