2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear headless gold. Aroma is a bit of burnt sulfur and not much else. Taste is the same, and it wouldn’t be this unpleasant if I hadn’t expected an IIPA. There is almost a gasoline note in the finish. $2.3/22oz
can from Trader Joes. Deep golden with small head. Sweet and boozy, caramel and cardboard. Light metallic note, which seems to be a Minhas/Boatswain trait. I'd imagine it takes some skill to be this consistently bad. Mark Dantonio's spirit beer.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. P ours light gold with a white head Nose is light lemon and floral. Body is light for a DIPA. Flavor haws lemon and some vegetable. Something else maybe like coriander. A spice anyway. Overall kind of muddled. Ronritter (874) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 9, 2017

Can. Pours a clear orange with a light gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong biscuit and earthy grain with a hint of grass backing. Flavor has lots of bread and biscuit with grass and a hint of earthy citrus. hershiser2 (3591) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - APR 13, 2017
83 cent can from Trader Joes. Canned as Boatswain Double IPA. Pours orange with a large beige head. Aroma of citrus, light spice, bubblegum, glue, coriander. Meh. robertjm (895) - Albany, California, USA - MAR 30, 2017
(12oz can) - Soapy looking head. Clear body the color of dark golden with orange mixed in. Light aroma of rubbing alcohol. Flavor is unpleasant. Sort of oxidized with bitter traits. Lingers on the palate much longer than I’d hope for. Thankfully I only bought a single can. Thechasm442 (1005) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 16, 2016
$2.29 bomber from Trader Joe’s. Mostly clear orange with an average white head and lacing. Aroma is sweeter with oranges, pine, yeast, and bubblegum. Taste is make forward. Sweet malts blend with mild citrus and pine. Very thin and bland overall with a dry finish. muzzlehatch (4970) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 9, 2016
22 ounce bottle (as "Rhinelander" Imperial Jack) picked up at Woodman’s in Beloit for the ridiculous and mind-boggling price of $2.50 and consumed cold from the fridge from a Flying Fish pint. Pours a small to moderate white head atop a light amber, very clear body, leaving bare hints of lacing as it decays with moderate speed...weak sugary nose - brown sugar and maybe honey, a hint of thyme, some plastic qualities...surprisingly not as sweet on the tongue, though still a bit sugary - some woody/dry qualities throughout, a bit of caramelized malt, just a touch of sourness and acidity...dry finish, somewhat syrupy mouthfeel, low to moderate carbonation. I was kind of expecting horrible after my last couple of Minha’s experiences, so with those low expectations...well, it’s passable at best.
