Minhas using the word "Farmhouse" on the label is a bit disingenuous, implying it’s some sort of Biere de Gard or Saison. It’s in fact just a very plain ale with a little bit of caramel character. The brewer’s description is also full of embellishments. This is a bland beer. If they were honest with what it was, I think this beer would be better received. Live rating of 2 x 330 ml bottles from B&M Gateshead. Poured cold into a Moretti pint chalice. Not Hazy, but clear dark gold with a white head that disappears. Aroma of watered down rum. Demerara flavour. Too sweet, sticky palate. Don’t think I can finish this... marcus (10346) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 9, 2016

Bottle shared during the Cad’s 10th anniversary bash - Clerkenwell, London. Pours clear gold with a white cream topping. The nose is fusels, citrus, bread. Medium sweet flavor with notes of pale bread, ripe lemon, paper. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish with more paper and citrusy accents. Eh, not wonderful.
