Lazy Mutt is an unfiltered ale, cloudy and pale in color. The off-white foam slowly disappears to reveal a slight citrus aroma. A citrusy palate gives way to a light malty sweetness touched by a hint of corn. Bottle conditioned ale made with Canadian 2 row malt and Galena and Tettnag variety of fine hops.

Bottle from State Line. Pours hazy dark straw orangish with minimal white head and a fizzy body. Nose is funky pale malt, florals, hopcitrus. Tastes medium to light in palate, with an overall sweetness, mild funk, hopcitrus, and pale malt. Overall this one is below average.

Pours a dark golden color. smell is musty, medicinal. Taste is an off flavor, some cough syrup, not very good. Overall best avoided.

Rich gold color with wisps of smoke floating around; skim coat of clean white head, and no lace. The problem with this brew is that it is light sour citrus and wheat that doesn’t continue through the palate or into the finish. There is very little going on, leaving one with a slightly sour stomach - not good for beer drinking. Not recommended.

Light gold color, slightly hazy, medium head. Light malts and hops, brewed with real honey. A slightly sweet, wheat beer. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full. Nice taste, crisp and refreshing. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet, no bitterness

341ml bottle pours straw in color with a small white head that leaves only a few specks of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits with some light caramel and light grassy hops. Taste is light fruit and malt sweetness with a mild hop bitterness. Light to medium body with mild carbonation. By far the best that Minhas has to offer, but still only about average for the style.

Onslow (1496) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - FEB 15, 2012
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. SLightly cloudy yellow brew with a wafer thin head that is gone in a second. Ye gods - looks like a urine sample in the glass. Aroma of fruit - lemon, pear, green apple - some sour funk. Taste is sweet caramel and candy apple, lemon grass. A little dry in the finish. There is nothing foul or bad here but it is a mish mash of odd and off flavors. I was thinking it was a saison / farmhouse ale (given that those very words are printed on the label) but see that it is a golden / blond ale. Sheese - seldom care for those. Well, it’s a bust. Not a drain pour but not enjoyable.

Draft. Hazy pale yellow color. Aroma of subtle straw. Taste is lemon juice and lime.

Decent complexity for the style and still easy to drink. Not incredible but decent enough.

GhostFace (321) - Wisconsin, USA - NOV 12, 2011
a very blah beer. no character. it’s sold by the 8pk but you won’t want to try more than 1

hollardustin (327) - Indiana, USA - NOV 6, 2011
This is terrible. Pours blonde with small white beaded head. Aroma is fruity, hay, light malt. Taste is very sweet....too sweet, fruity with some apple and pear on the finish. This beer loses points for not being a farmhouse ale. It’s just cloyingly sweet and mildly offensive all-around.
