Very simple beer but refreshing enough on a warm day. Wouldn’t buy myself but wouldn’t turn down either. rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 20, 2015
can. Golden with one finger head. Medium body with corn and grain, lightly sweet. Very light hops. Could pass for an AB beer.

Can - small foamy head, clear light copper color, sweet malty aroma and flavor, mild hop balance, a little more full bodied than expected, a step above your basic macro-like pale lager/pils

Light, malty, smooth. Some bread and cereal. Earthy then a watery finish. Nothing special, but not terrible. cheap (5863) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 26, 2015
Probably not a can of pilsner. More like cheap aged pale lager. Rather rude initial impact. Gets better as the session continues.

The only thing pilsner about this beer is the color. The malt is sweet. There is bitterness but it is unlike any other pilsner I’ve had. And the nose is almost paint like. Strange. Outside the Russian beers, this is the worst beer I’ve tried. I’m pouring out the other five cans. MetalNHopHead (1981) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - JUN 17, 2015
As far as cheap beer goes, you could do a lot worse than Simpler Times Pilsner. The malt isn’t too skunky and the hops aren’t too weak. Still, if this beer is supposed to make me nostalgic for "simpler times," I’m unmoved. I’ll stick to the present. Some things shouldn’t be simple. I like my beer to have complexity. geologyguy (1604) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - MAY 9, 2015
Slightly sweet malty smell, taste is the same...sweet malt, no hops, no depth of anything but malt... Doesn’t really taste like a pilsner, bland and boring...slightly medicinal taste in there too Eurlager (28) - New York, USA - MAY 3, 2015
Nothing special here. This is not a German Pilsener. I don’t trust Minhas Craft Brewery with any of their beers. rdixon77 (2842) - Georgia, USA - MAR 26, 2015
Old rating. Yup, macro lager from Trader Joes…exactly what you expect. Something like 50 cents a beer. Corny, stale, some weird off funk. Tasted it with lager…almost exactly the same.
