Draught at Tenma. Real ale version. Belgian yeast, pear, caramel, pepper, green hops, bitter finish. Decent brew, quite flavorful, maybe a tad too heavy in this version. jonas (8278) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - OCT 24, 2012

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2009 Handpump at Beer Belly.
Nice reddish-copper color. Nice hoppy aroma, with dark fruit, citrus, caramel, and Belgian yeast. Spicy, fruity, with a tingly, prickly, bitter hop finish. Very interesting finish, and good hoppiness for a Belgian style. A great session beer. Wombata (627) - Kobe, JAPAN - OCT 4, 2009
Appearance: Hazy brown.
Aroma: Faint scent of banana, some coriander.
Flavor: Starts out soft with rounded, bitter pear followed by some lightly spicy, peppery notes and finishes with a little bitterness that sneaks up on the finish.
Comment: Interesting, good balance. Good mouthfeel.
