On tap at Wiz. Pours ruby, very small off-white head. Malty, grape, grape juice, sweet, bit sourish. Light to medium bodied. Interesting, but bit of a mess really. willisread (3651) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 28, 2015
2014 Spring on tap at Craft Beer Market Jimbocho. Served in a snifter. Deep amber color with a pinkish white carbonated head. Strong grape/muscat smell with hints of currants and blackberry and wheat. Taste is grape-forward. Quite unbalanced, and drinks more like a cheap carbonated wine cooler. Thin body and watery mouthfeel with carbonation. Finish was smooth. GenkiGonzo (1096) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 10, 2014
Draught at Bungalow. Looks like Ribena(blackcurrant cordial). Unmistakable grape aroma, with something wheaty behind it. Flavour has berries(again like Ribena) and a nice smooth finish. Wouldn’t really describe it as a beer, but it’s a decent drink. drjoeng (1380) - SINGAPORE - SEP 25, 2014
Firmly carbonated head that lingers just Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 9, 2014
Draught at Watering Hole, Yoyogi. Clear deep red - pink head. Berries. Light grapey. Light milkey. Thin body. Very light malty. Light light licorice like notes. Youghurt notes. Fat nose...

Dark purple body with a light purple head. Aroma and flavors mostly dominated by sugarless grape juice, feels a bit like a sparkling red wine, but grape slowly gets overwhelming and tiring for the palate. Not a great balance but an original take on a fruity grape brew. dfearnley (2317) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 29, 2013
Bottle to tulip
Cherry and raspberry syrup or kool aid. Transparent bright red with a thin ringed white head. The taste is sour cherry with a little hops. Quite strange, barely drinkable. Ferris (16519) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 3, 2013
Draft - caramel, strawberries and slightly vinous. Deep amber with a thin white head. A bit sweet berries but decent although a bit one sided. Sour a bit and you have a winner. tania_nexust (239) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2013
Tried on draught at Beer Belly Higobashi in 2011. Was advised it was "a nice choice for the ladies" ;-) It was rather nice, quite fruity and easy drinking. Offers something different to a lot of American-style / German-style beers from many Japanese breweries. Would definitely have it again, though note that other reviews on here indicate you should check the bottling/best before date carefully if trying from a bottle. reebtogi (6378) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 3, 2012
Small blue colored glass bottle pours a pinkish golden color with a light pinkish head that leaves no lacing as it settles. Aroma is wine grapes with some grainy malts. Taste is mild grainy malt sweetness with a fruity winelike grape sweetness and finishes dry on the palate. Light to medium body with mild carbonation. A very unique brew which has more wine character to it than beer, but is very interesting nonetheless.
