Present from my friend Luis after a trip he made to Japan: thanks!
33 cl bottle served in red wine glass. Pours hazy bright amber. Off-white head is abundant, thick and good-lacing. Aroma is very intense: spruce, pine, cypress, resin, along with bitter citrus such as grapefruit, pomelo and kumquat. A nice hint of black tea is also present. Taste is dry, bold and refreshingly crisp. Finish is very -very bitter and long-lasting. Very nice indeed. Grumbo (2827) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 27, 2017
Bottle, gift from the visiting Dane’s, cheers! Pours a hazy pale orange / golden colour with a small bubbly off white head. Subtle aroma of hop, tropical fruit, apricot. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Light to medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. An easy drinker. MayumiH (1214) - Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2016

Tap at a ramen shop next to CBB.
Aroma: Orange, dried apricot, pine and cedar spiciness.
Flavor: Similar to the nose with pine and grassy hop. Good balance of malt and hop with a mediumi long finish. Served at the perfect temperature and in perfect condition. Best Pale Ale I’ve had from Minoh. Have they raised their game? Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 1, 2016
Bright, amber, has a mellow melony hop with a hit of grapefruit. Has a mellow character. Hops and similar and the light caramel malts provide good balance. Good 90s style pale. BuckeyeBoy (7514) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 6, 2016
On tap at Beer Belly. pours out a hazy amber topped with a small head. nose is earthy floral hops some bread grain. Taste is more of the floral hops some light grassy notes and a bread malt. jc1762 (1370) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 30, 2015
Poured into a plastic cup on the Shinkansen showing dark brown, barely any filtration, and light carbonation on the sides with no head.
The nose shows a lot of grainy malts with light notes of pineapple and a little mango.
The palate is lightly carbonated and medium to full bodied. Flavors of balanced malt and some light cannabis with a light bitterness. Very british in style, subtle yet easy to drink with no flaws but nothing outstanding. jdjuice (500) - Kumamoto, JAPAN - OCT 8, 2015
Pours nice amber gold, but with weird soapy head. Aroma is fresh hops, fruity, lemons, piney. Flavors are hoppy again, but with a mouthfeel more like an ESB than an effervescent pale ale. Body is pretty light, with a dry, fairly strong bitterness that lingers. Something of this beer reminds me of freshly sanded cedar.
