Hazy orange color, good creamy white head. Aroma has belgi-yeast, banana and light citrus. Medium-bodied. Banana, belgi-yeast, grass and alcohol. A bit honeyish. Standard Belgi stuff.
Bottle. A lightly hazy one, golden in color and with a small, white head on top. The aroma is lighlty sugary, with pale malts, some grass and hay. Alcohol notes. The flavor has a nice fruityness, with pale malts, white sugar, grass and some hay. A little warmth in the flavor, with a nice carbonation level. A bit high perhaps, but nice. Long semi-dry finish. Not very much interesting going on here, but it’s a decent one. 150524 Benzai (16682) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 19, 2014
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Martinus. Opaque yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, yeast, typical Belgian Ale flavors. Not bad but drinkable covers it all imo. Hops? Hmm, not really. MiP (15973) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 4, 2014
Bottle, 6.5%. Nicely citric aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is chalky and slightly grapefruity. Sweetish finish. Quite harmonious, but could use a bit more punch. imdownthepub (15330) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2016
Bottled, 330ml from The Spar Supermarket in Ostend, West Flanders, Belgium. Hazy pale gold with white head. There are pear drop flavours to the fore in this, artificial banana notes, quite sweet. Belgian yeasty notes, quite thin on the palate. Just okay.
