Bottled bomber pours light caramel darkness with nice head. Initial taste i got was definitely a rye mixed lightly with the dunkelweizen. Not a bad beer in was expecting more body but was a nice light beer.

4-16-12 Solid rye body with a touch of cloves. Great frothy, creamy head. TONS of sediment, nice light brown color. The flavor continues with sweetness and sour tang. Then finishes with good rye aftertaste. 9.2BD, 8.5KevMar, 4JD

Bottle with Carla. Pours a foggy ruby/brown with off-white foam. Smells malty, slightly sweet with a hint of hop bitterness. Tastes malty, but pretty thin, lightly sweet with hints of rye and just a little bit of bittering hops.

So nice. A Dunkel-Rye-zen! Rye is tricky and Weizen is tricky and somehow CPB pulled it off. Quite delicious. The aroma and mouth-feel are perfect. $1 refundable flip top bottle opens with a beautiful ’pop’. Aroma and subtle flavor of banana and spice. Bottle says 6.7% ALC and Vegan.
