COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dusseldorf-Style Altbier. Our Amber ale is a wonderful compromise between the light and refreshing, and dark and full-flavored beers available today. Our Amber is clean, and like our Blonde ale, exhibits a crisp, lager-like character. The firm bitterness is balanced by the sweet, caramel and nutty malt character provided by the generous use of Munich, Vienna, and Pilsner malts. 43 IBU

Bottle from Albertsons. Bready and malty up front. A hint of sweetness lingering. A little bit of hoppiness. A touch of a dark fruity sweetness to it. Very light hop finish. Clean and drinkable.

Bomber, thanks Christina! Caramel malt aroma with notes of bready malt and nutty esters. Pours caramel colored with one finger of tan head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with sweet caramel malt flavors with light bread notes. Finishes smooth with the caramel sweetness carrying throughout as well as a bit of nutty character as well. Really good amber even though it isn't one per se.

Cybercat (6146) - Georgia, USA - JUN 30, 2016
Taps clear amber with a nice, rather fine-bubbled pale buff head. Aroma presents notes of fresh malt, resiny hops and pear. Flavor ramps up the hops and adds a snip of apple for a pleasing and quite drinkable ale. Body is firm and features lively fizz and a woody hop finish. Go for the amber!
