COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dusseldorf-Style Altbier. Our Amber ale is a wonderful compromise between the light and refreshing, and dark and full-flavored beers available today. Our Amber is clean, and like our Blonde ale, exhibits a crisp, lager-like character. The firm bitterness is balanced by the sweet, caramel and nutty malt character provided by the generous use of Munich, Vienna, and Pilsner malts. 43 IBU

Light amber color, small foamy beige head, slight fruity aroma (strawberry?), hoppy sweet fruity taste, low carbonation, long finish. Enjoyable experience.

Tap: hazy amber with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel, nutty with a light roast. Flavor is sweet with caramel, nutty and has a light bitterness that kicks in with the roast grain. Decent beer, nice flavor and easy to drink.

Draft at Tattooed Mom. Cloudy amber with a light foamy white head. Medium malt. Light toasted wheat flavors. Orange banana cookies. Some hop bite is present but not a major force. Reasonably full body for the style. Not too sweet. Smooth finish. Might be my palate right now but tastes good after a strong bitter stout.

Roasted notes but strong hop profile. Nutty notes on the palate. A bit of a metallic finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nuts, caramel, and pine hops in the aroma. Taste starts sweet and nutty, with a pretty heavy pine bitterness in the finish. Pretty heavy taste and finish for a 5% beer. OK, but not great.

Dark amber in color. Well balanced ale, no notable flavor notes. Finishes clean with a mild bitter aftertaste

A clear amber colored beer, with an off white head. The aroma of sweet a little caramel and fruits with hop notes. The taste of sweet fruit, with some caramel and hints of bitter hop. The aftertaste is a little sweet moving to a little bitter.

A reddish-brown pour with an off-white head. The aroma is caramel malt with pine. It has a medium body with crisp texture and lively carbonation. I like the bittersweet taste with a dry finish.
