COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kolsch-Style Ale. Our Blonde ale is a crisp and refreshing golden ale. Modeled after the kolsch-style ales from Cologne (Köln), Germany, our blonde ale has a clean, lager-like character, and a smooth, balanced bitterness. The authentic kolsch yeast strain provides a subtle fruitiness, which compliments the Liberty and Hallertau hops used for flavor and aroma. 20 IBU

Subtle fruity esters. Light eggy. Reminiscent of characters found in light Amber malt profile. Very low hop aroma, a bit herbal in finish. Light peppery spice on palate. Moderately high carbonation, no bite. Very dry, especially after a 1664. Background note of metallic, not distracting. Mildly balanced finish, not much going on.

Rated on 11-24-2015 (Bottle) The appearance is a huge foamy white head that mostly dissipated, slightly hazy yellow-amber body, fast rising carbonation, good amount of lacing adorned my glass, and there are some floaties. The aroma is grainy, yeast, malt, floral, light citrus, earthy, lightly fruity, and spicy. The flavor is tangy, bready malt, yeast, wheat, light citrus, and grassy. The mouthfeel is soft cabonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. A quaffable beer but the flavor is nothing special.

Tap @ restaurant in Monterey. Golden amber, not much head. Resin corn aroma. Vanilla malt flavour. Slightly sickly sweet aftertaste. Very average.

Poured into a stange. 3.0 A: Lightly hazed medium yellow color. About one finger of frothy white head. Retention is below average and just a wisp of lacing is left. 4.0 S: This smells pretty damn good. Clean, grainy maltiness. Grassy hoppiness with light floral and earthy notes. Simple, yet elegant like the style is supposed to be. 4.0 T: Like the nose, simple and wonderful. Grainy malts with just enough neutral malt sweetness. Grassy hops foremost and floral and earthy undertones. Super clean. 4.5 M: Medium body, which is the perfect amount for this. Good moderate carbonation. Good creaminess and supremely smooth. 4.5 D: This beer is damn drinkable. It’s tasty and refreshing. No problems at all. Simply great. ★ 725 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 07, 2013

Amerikaans blond bier. Dit is eerlijk gezegd geen fantastisch bier. Smaakt een beetje zeepsop-erig zelfs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fizzy yellow beer as they say...residual sweetness distracts. Not the best kosher blah. As there are good kohl she’s out there.

keg at the taproom in SD, 12/11/14. Clear light golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malt, straw, citric peel, lemon notes. Taste comprises straw, pale malt, cereal, light vanilla, citric peel. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Dull.

reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 8, 2014
Pours pale yellow with a medium white head...thin soapy lacing. Aroma has light grass and sweet straw...just a touch of fruitiness. Flavor follows suit...clean and grassy with light malty straw...tea-like and minerally. Mouthfeel is light but creamy with a dry and straw/mild grass finish. Very subtle beer and quite possibly boring at times but refreshing and quaffable.

"Pretty standard fare, here. Expected from a blonde. light toast, a decent amount of floral hops, and a lack of body and finish catergorize this one. Ho hum."
