COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The ancient legends that abound the Russian Imperial Stout of yore are filled with tempestuous romance, sinful thievery, and scurvy, too. So highly regarded was this historic recipe, the Russian Kings tried to keep it all to themselves. They failed. Today we bring you our own dastardly dark version, with a rich and roasty aroma, notes of plum and port and a velvety texture so luscious it just might make a grown man weep.

35.5cl bottle, served in Snifter. Pours black with small lasting tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, dark chocolate, dried fruits and hints of smoke. Taste is coffee, dark chocolate, biscuit and a slight touch of smoke. Very well balanced, and the aftertaste has a substantial amount of hops along with the roasty notes. Full body, perfect carbonation. Thats one of the best (if not the best), normal Imperial Stouts Ive ever had. What a pleasure!

Heavy aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste is predominantly sweet chocolate that coincides well with a touch of bitter coffee in the aftertaste. Full body, soft carbonation. A good one!

Bottle batch#472. Pours a viscous, black body with a dark tanned head that laces the glass well. Roasted malts with notes of coffee, chocolate, tar, leather and a bit of vinous fruityness, along with some well hidden alcohol. Lovely rich malty and roasty flavors. Coffee and chocolate are prominent and a nice sting from the hops as well. Makes for a great balance between the sweet alcoholic taste and the bitterness from roasted grains and hops. Lasting light sweet fruityness with lurking bitter coffee notes in the back. Full body with avg co2 levels and a velvety texture.
