3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
I got one of those giant cans because I like a lot of beer in one canister. That’s why I liked 40’s in high school. This is pretty good, for what it is. Al respectably low ABV pale. No need to get into the guts of the profile. It’s tasty and refreshing and holds it’s own in the style category. Compared to the price of a bomber of the same, it’s a clear steal. The fresh taste is pretty profound, making one wonder how the IIPA Shipwreck would fare in a huge can like this. (Mission: please make this happen)
It’s also on sale at Costco, which has me pondering the idea of going over there with a pallet jack and stocking up.
Bottle @ parents. Appearance: pours clear yellow with good soapy white head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, hay, citrus and grapefruit. palette: strong hoppy aroma, average to sparkling carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, dominated by a medium to distinct bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: nice and refreshing APA

Bottle from Albertsons. Lightly sweet tropical nose. Flavor is fairly dry with a bit of pepper up front. Moves into a little sweetness and a touch of tropical flavor. Pretty tasty pale ale. OminouSC2 (722) - Mora, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2016

32oz can 2/11/15 (Whole Foods-Lamar)-Pours a hazy golden with a huge white head. Aroma of hops, malt, and grass. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad. hotstuff (5173) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 28, 2015
Rated on 12-28-2015 (Bottle) This beer poured a huge foamy, fluffy white head that mostly diminished, light hazy pale golden body, slow rising carbonation, and no lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, tropical fruits, spicy, and pale malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus hops, tropical fruits, and pale malt. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this is a medium bodied APA. A drinkable beer that is easy drinking and not overly hoppy or bitter tasting. A mediocre APA.

Pours in a hazy golden color with a very thin line of white head that disappear rather quickly. Aroma; Fruity hops, floral notes, citrus and some yeast. Flavours; a little watery, lemon, fruity, yeast and a little malt bitterness in the end. A ordinary beer that’s all. Nothing more. BeerBobCA (16) - Campbell, California, USA - OCT 3, 2015

Citrus aroma in a hazy light gold pour. Pleasant hop forward balance with tasty malt body and sustained bitter finish. A nice lower strength brew.
