Hazed gold with a thin white head.
Wheat, banana, aroma.
Taste is banana, orange, spice, bubblegum....and..as advertised...a hint of pear.
Very sweet....tasty. notalush (5955) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Cloudy gold - almost no lace, despite an initially fizzy body - nose of clove, over-ripe apples, melon rind, mildly peppery phenols - carbonation is a bit fizzy and rough in the mouth - not the creamy texture you want from the style - flavor is yeasty and medium sweet - moderate clove, apple, a bit of spiciness - finish is kind of sweet, with very milx white pepper - has a lot of potential, but doesn’t come together as well as it could. Palm Springs, Ca - Grinds Burger Bar - on tap. Medium gold pour, light off-white head. Aroma of clove and bananas. Flavor has some coriander accents, a touch of bubble gum, some gumball sweetness. Thick enough mouthfeel. Decent. steeleliver (131) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 7, 2013
Hazy golden color with a thin white head. Light aroma of banana. A standard hefeweizen, but I didn’t like the palate very well. Dogbrick (14326) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Sample at Daily Growler. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that evaporates gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat and banana. Light body with flavors of wheat, grassy hops and bananas. The finish is crisp with a wheaty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Daily Growler on 8/1/13. Clear yellow pour with a thick white head. Aroma of banana, creamy wheat, sweetness and clove. Creamy wheat flavor with some banana character and a watery finish. Dacrza (1071) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Date tasted: July 6, 2013... Glassware: weizen glass... Occasion: mucho food o at Jim and Maria’s annual 4th (6th) of July party....Appearance: thick, foamy head that recedes to a single finger of white cloud; body is sunset orange with thick chunks of sediment sailing up and down its coast--a yeasty depot at the glass’s bottom... Aroma: banana and clove, as the bottle promises; yeasts are soft, less doughy than expected... Palate: medium-bodied, teethy impact on the mouth; a pleasant presence that doesn’t dominate--acidic, too... Taste: VERY subtly in its profile; the banana acquiesces and the clove is a gentle tickle at the throat--no problems, but not outstanding... Overall: smooth and useful, this hefe is indeed NOT a lemon-suds extravaganza, as its label warns its peers have become; its heft and subtlety make adding a lemon possible but negotiable; can’t see this on par with any real German offering, but the price was right.... 12oz bottle picked up at Wilburs in CO Ed5388 (3488) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Cloudy yellow with a medium sized white head and some lacing. Aroma and flavors of banana esters, yeasty and spices
12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow color with almost no head. Typical hefewiezen aroma of banana, wheat, and yeast. Taste is much the same. Wheat, bananas, yeast, and hints of citrus. nick76 (4403) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 5, 2013
The aroma is not exactly as I expected but not bad it does have a malty/wheaty thing with some coriander and banana. There is also a salty cracker with cheese in it. The taste is like the aroma. The appearance is cloudy gold with a thin head. The palate is smooth. Overall its rather dry and oddly salty for the style but not necessarily bad.
