Our award winning Hefeweizen is one of the breweries most popular selections. Unlike the lemon-laden wheat beers that flood market today, Mission Hefeweizen is a true example of a classic Bavarian Hefeweizen - exhibiting a wonderful bouquet of clove, banana, pear, among other aromas and flavors which make this beer a refreshing and full flavored brew. Make no mistake – there is no fruit in this beer. The complex and flavorful character of our Hefeweizen is achieved by the authentic Bavarian yeast strain employed in its production. 15 IBU

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a cloudy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, banana and light clove. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, yeast, banana and clove with a smooth dry lingering banana finish.

12 oz bottle. A ultra thin head develops on top of a murky golden body before quickly fading completely away. Not the most appealing appearance. The aroma is what you’d expect from a standard hefe: banana, clove, yeast, some wheat. The flavor, again, consists of banana and cloves. It definitely also has a juicy fruit bubblegum thing going on, with yeast, and spices towards the back end. This really lacks the softness you get from the better Hefeweizens. It’s fizzy in the mouth; the carbonation is too lively. Certainly not a bad beer but there’s just nothing here to make me want to get it again.

Pint on tap. Cloudy golden with a small lasting head. Nose of spicy, sour banana, toasted wheat bread and a touch of resin. Taste is the same great mix. Near-medium body is well balanced, with a dryish finish and a low-average carbonation level. Excellent American example of the style, using the true Bavarian Hefe yeast.

Smells like questionable yeast. Nice color minimal head and little white things? Taste is heavy upfront and heavy till it fades not my favorite. Palate is ok. Overall not my favorite beer by any stretch.

Sweet yeasty aroma. Stoked for this. Golden body and quickly vanished white head. Tastes fruity and tangy with the strong wheat aftertaste. Beautiful beer. I shall purchase more.

Not all that strong aroma wise. Head is very airy. This beer is okay. It has a decent German hefe flavor, just it is pretty light. Only average.

Draft at Wigwam beer fest. Fairly refreshing but really nothing that breaks it out from the other hefes out there (despite their commercial claim). A little banana, a little clove and a touch of yeast. Fine.
