A bready aroma with notes of grass and hops. Pours a clear gold color with a short lasting white head with some lacing. A dry hoppy feel with a grassy hoppy taste and mildly dry bitter finish. Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Bottle. Murky amber brown color. Aroma of butterscotch. Taste is similar. Pretty average. DocLock (10652) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Pours hazy golden with white head. Bready pale malt and Saaz hops in the nose. Tasted Saaz hoppy, with doughy malt, mild spicy tartness, and a crisp finish. 60minuteman (1682) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2014
Served in flute at Drafting Room. Hazy yellow pour, white head which sticks to glass. Aroma of funk, light citrus, grass, hops, spice. Flavor is mainly lemon backed by the Saaz hops. Some spices possibly coriander. Full mouthfeel. Really good. GarrettB (1582) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 6, 2014
April 27th, 2012 - The first sip of Mission Brewery’s Bohemian Pils marked my first visit to their base of operations, just outside of San Diego’s downtown. It’s a neat little building, renovated, but still charmingly classic, with beautiful brickwork that gives this brewery a wonderfully industrial feel. Unfortunately, the customer service experience and the brews both left something to be desired. The terrible service is another review, but here’s where the beer begins, and the Bohemian Pils was a high note in a somewhat deflating string of beers. This is a straw gold brew, mostly clear, but a touch of fog scatters light. From the aroma I get lots of apple core (or more clearly, oxidized apple), pear and fresher apple skins, too. The flavor is much truer to the pils character. It begins with a raucous carbonated launch onto the palate, where a slight flavor of apple and pear carve out enough room to express themselves. They’re lost in the aftertaste, which stripped of the fruit flavors, tastes like mineral water. Still, this leaves a fresh and clean taste, and little to none of the corniness that plagues poorly made pilseners. The carbonation is a bit much, and might help this pair with foods - maybe something spicy or greasy, but the busy palate and a long, parsimonious aftertaste make the Bohemian Pils a boring drink by itself, but a good supplement to grub.

Super light pils on tap at the brewery, i liked the blonde better than this, but it was easy to drink Aurelius (5294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Clear gold, clingy white head. Lightly sweet, a little doughy, a little tangy. Crisp west coast hops. Crackery, exceptional for and true to style with a little twist. Everything that I’ve had from this brewery so far, I’ve really enjoyed. Fermentation Lounge, Friday before Labor Day. Escaped work 30 minutes early with Triock. Tallahassee, Fl - Fermentation Market - on tap. Medium gold pour, snow white head, nice lacing. Aroma has some grainy notes. Flavor has some honey sweetness, some graininess, a bit of a buttery backend and a sharp hoppy bite in the finish. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Pours a clear golden yellow with s small white head which fades to very little lacing. Aroma is of sweet malts, bready malts, grassy hops, and some earthy pine hops. Taste is sweet bready malts, light fruits, grassy hops, and some citrus. Has a medium-light body with a watery mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi bitter, crisp, refreshing, medium-short finish. Overall, a decent Czech pils that would be good on a warm summer day. bhensonb (15093) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is lightly bready with a hint of earthy hop. Med body. Flavor is bready with more than a hint of citrus and noble hop. Strangely there’s a mild hop burn. Which is not consistent with the flavor. But hop is good. Ok. It’s bready. Should be. It’s hoppy. Should be. Yet it does not seem to have a lot of Saaz hop. But the flavor is almost suggesting Saaz. And it burns lightly. Mysterious, but good.
