COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serra’s first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

12oz bottle, no date!!! for shame! a big sweet beer, like aged 120min but no hops to be found. I would love to try a world class IPA aged, to really nail down how bad an IPA can get..

Sweet malt aroma with slight apricot and alcohol nose. Orange/amber color with slight chill haze. Nice malt backbone with hop bitterness present. Not astringent without any noticeable diacetyl. Has a dry finish with a smooth alcohol flavor present. Medium body with no astringent flavors. Clean, drinkable 2xIPA - it is well hopped and balanced with the malt backbone. More aroma hops and perhaps more assertive flavor hops would make this beer score higher.

Puts a slightly cloudy apricot color, nice thick head, lots if carbonation. Strong aroma, lots of hops with some pine notes. The flavor is really good. It has a sweetness on the front and then bitterness down the back. Very long finish. Great beer.

Cloudy copper with a creamy head. Medium lacing. Floral sweet aroma but with alcohol tinge. Bold hoppy taste at first slightly bitter then a sweet grapefruit in the back end. Let this one sit and sip. Will pack a punch.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy floral hop, cotton candy and fruit hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good interesting beer.

Smells like orange rind. Amber color in glass. The hops take a millisecond before they hit your tongue, but the hit it hard and don’t let up until after it is swallowed. A good DIPA.

Berries in the nose, and a bit of floral hops. Clear light orange appearance. Frothy head. Interesting taste, malt, berries, hops. Finishes very dry. No alcohol detected. Decent.

Nice copper color. Clean filtered. Nice head. The hops are not as potent as one would expect from a double IPA. The Malta seem a little more prevalent in the flavor. Though the hops seemed to stick a little more as I drank it. Palate stickige.

Poured a cloudy apricot with a thin white head. Aroma was grapefruit malt and some pine. On the palate you get sweet fruit followed by malt and finishing with a lingering bitterness of some pine and grassy notes. Mouthfeel was medium and smooth but did have a little alcohol burn.

Pours golden orange from the bottle with a strong smell of booze and a little hops. A nice taste but the booze overpowers the hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
