COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serra’s first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

Pours a yellow golden color. Has a citrus aroma. Has a citrus, hoppy taste that is a little bitter with a mild sweetness after the swallow. I am not a big IPA fan, but overall, not a bad beer.

Strong sour resin and citrus hop aroma. Cloudy orange color with a medium tan head. Sweet full bodied beginning with a light bitter and sweet finish.

Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2012
A clear golden/yellow colored beer, with a off white head. The aroma of sweet fruits, with hop bitter and nettle. The taste of sweet grapes and hop bitters. The aftertaste is sweet with bitter.

Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma has plenty of hops, sweet caramel malt. Flavor of sweet caramel malt, citrusy fruits, hops, grassy hops. The alcohol is pretty well hidden.

Bottle at lucky lab. Pours clear orange with a small head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is all citrus but has a small hop aroma. Taste is bitter forward with a bunch of sweetness on the finish. Solid but not spectacular.

dmac (6262) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - AUG 10, 2012
12 oz bottle from J Canal’s Egg Hrabor Twsp. Poured a deep clear honey brown body with a small to average sized super light beige head. Aroma of dry citrus rind, yellow grapefruit pulp, hop syrup, marmalade coated toast, fruit skins and grains. Full bodied with a strong harsh finish, average carbonation and a medium duration on the finish. Flavor of citrus rind, strong grapefruit notes, honey, medium toast, grains, cereal, a bit dry overall. Solid beer, but with so many DIPAs out there I doubt I’d buy this one again.

355 mL bottle. Copper orange, not quite clear. Small white head. Nice aroma hits all of the hop elements (resin, citrus, floral), but the whole does not quite equal the sum of the parts. Nice balance of citrus and caramel in the flavour. Alcohol is hidden. Bitter enough, but it does not linger on the tongue. Good beer, not great.

Warning: way better on draft than in bottles. This is a great 2IPA. Hops take you from the nose to the finish. Enough malt to carry it. Recommended.

The smell is very hoppy maybe cascade and chinook? And a hint of sweetness. The color is a oranginsh amber color thats hazy with little head. The taste is sweet at first then the bitterness takes over right away. It seems like a 70+ibu brew. Its surprizingly a heavy light body texture and the sweetness sticks on your tounge offsetting the bitterness. This brew is respectable not bad worth a try.

12oz. Pours that golden orange hue you can just tell is going to be tasty. Big sweet malt hints blast the nose upon a whiff. Hints of citrusy hops are present as well, alongside bits of bread. Nose transmutes into the flavors as well with hints of caramel malts and loads of resin. Good, but not great, DIPA.
