3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Gold pour with a decent head, light sweet malty aroma, a bit of hop in the background. Flavor is somewhat sweet, bready malt, some light fruit with a good hop balance. Body is moderate which is a pleasant suprise considering the abv, finish is crisp and balanced. A nice, very drinkable summer session ale, will plan to have some on hand for my BMC swilling in-laws.
I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments.

"also has two listings, one under steinhaus and this under FW, both 4.4%. this is one of my least favorite styles, so beiong that this is a pretty average example of that style, it’s really nothing special. on the lighter side of micro brews. refreshing cereal malts and a touch of hops, but very simple. Meh!!1 Grain water, not much hops, buttery, not a good crisp blonde I usually enjoy on a hot day. Believe i got it at tader joes and cheap. Frank (4196) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 8, 2014
This is a decent blond w/ lots of nutty malt character. It is perfectly clear and a shade darker than gold, perhaps. Its head is small and leaves behind just a few spots of lace. This is a malt focused beer, which I wasn’t expecting. It is a touch sweet up front but dries out nicely in the finish. Predominant character here is simple, fresh malts and it makes for a nice change of pace. This is a decent take on the style. Personally, I just wish it were a touch dryer and had more depth to the malt. As it is though, it is really pretty good. solidfunk (8965) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Fairly bad. Firestone walkers excuse to build shitty beer for the masses I guess. Pours blonde with fizzy head and lacing. Sour finish.

Mission St. Blonde Ale has a thin, white head, a clear, bubbly, yellow-gold appearance, and minimal lacing left behind. The aroma is of faint sweetness, light malt, and sweetness. Taste is also mild, and one will encounter those elements described in the smell, with a low-level, but appropriate hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Mission St. Blonde Ale finishes mostly dry and easy drinking. RJT Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Reviewed from notes,
The appearance was a hazy golden colored body with a small white bumpy head.
The smell had some yeastiness with pale and sweet malts, sugary corn.
The taste was sweet and watery.
The palate was light to medium, some harshness on the tongue, sessionable, no aftertaste, sticky finish.
Overall, I don’t think this is something I need to have again, but could tolerate if served and this is all there is. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - MAR 23, 2014
Pours gold, minimal head. Bland nose and mouth, some pale malt, balance. Light body. Not much here, but no off flavors and non offensive. brewone (3) - Elk Grove, California, USA - FEB 19, 2014 does not count

Smells of orange blossom honey with a slightly earthy/spicy hop profile. Subtle esters of fresh cut pear and strawberries. The beer pours with golden hue and brilliant clarity, enough to read through. Thin white head that fades quickly. The flavor is similar to white bread crust with honey drizzle. The hops are in the background (as per style) but layer nicely throughout. Finishes dry with a pleasant juicy pear and light caramel. The carbonation is med high which helps dry the beer out, making it quenching and refreshing. Overall a tasty blonde ale with a great balance between sweet honey and spicy hop RedSox2004 (1897) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - FEB 13, 2014
Clear golden with a one-finger head and decent lace. Aromas of bready malt, red apples, and modest grassy hops. Flavor is mostly bready with light hop notes. Light to medium body, watery mouthfeel, generous carbonation, and a clean finish.
