Another trader joe's tick. Pours hazy golden amber, small off white head. Gum, banana, clove. Fits the bill for dirt cheap.

Stuedmaster (351) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 21, 2014
22 oz. bomber from Trader Joes. Aroma is slight, some wheat, lemon, and banana detectable but no spice. Cloudy gold/orange pour with a billowing, fluffy, white head that leaves lacing. Highly carbonated with big bubbles. Has a very mainstream flavor, nothing to really distinguish it from a generic hefeweizen. Light bodied, slick texture, lively carbonation, abrupt finish. A good deal for $1.99 a bottle, but nothing to get excited about.

1/19/14. 22oz bottle thanks to PorterPounder! Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head that fades. Mild aroma, lightly spicy, some cream and citrus. Lame flavor, plain pale malts, metallic, mild cream, thin. Meh.

Poured from big bottle. Aroma of vanilla, spice, bread and a touch of smoke. Golden with slight head. I taste vanilla cake, yeast, pear, citrus, touch of pepper and honey. Mellows as it warms. Well done.

Bomber from TJs in Tally. Sparse note: banana, clove, little bubblegum, wheat. Crisp, straightforward, drinkable. Not bad for 3 bucks. - 7.0

22oz bomber pours with a coppery to gold body that has a slight haze and supports really no head at all. The aroma offers up grainy wheat, some lemon and sweet banana. The taste starts with grainy malts, wheat notes and some sharp lemon like citrus. In the background is a faint sweet banana note. This is a pretty nice hefe.

Really good for the price. A little lacking on the aroma but the flavor is really good. The banana flavors come through nicely.

swanmann (746) - Nompton, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 28, 2013
slightly hazy orange with moderate amount of thick, sticky eggshell colored foam; sweet almost syrupy aroma of banana and caramel; flavor is sweet and yeasty as well, with a gentle bitterness. The palate is medium bodied, thinning fairly quickly. Its a delicious hefe, straight forward flavors.

PorterPounder (7619) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 31, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl - Trader Joes - 22 oz bomber. Hazy dark orange appearance, light snow white head that sticks around a while. Light clove and banana aroma. Flavor is standard hefeweizen with some artificial banana flavor, a hint of cloves, a touch of yeast. Mouthfeel is pretty thick. Refreshing - decent hefe.
