Amber golden color with a white head. Hints of citrus zest, buttery through the body and a mild hops in the finish. Not a standout. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 2, 2014
"i don’t know what award it’s winning...county fair? this is an ok hefe. nothing at all wrong with it, especially for the price, but it’s just above average at best. all the aspects you expect in a hefe, just lighter." Braudog (6716) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Bottle. I would never have guess this a hefeweizen, from the all-American lager-y look, to the heavily biscuity base. There’s the merest of fruity finishes, but none of the classically yeasty, funky aspects I’d have expected. Otherwise, no technical fault, easy enough to drink. pour from bomber ...pours amber with nice white head....beer is clean and crisp....very refreshing after a round of golf...low abv but once in awhile thats ok. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Another trader joe's tick. Pours hazy golden amber, small off white head. Gum, banana, clove. Fits the bill for dirt cheap.

22 oz. bomber from Trader Joe’s. Aroma is slight, some wheat, lemon, and banana detectable but no spice. Cloudy gold/orange pour with a billowing, fluffy, white head that leaves lacing. Highly carbonated with big bubbles. Has a very mainstream flavor, nothing to really distinguish it from a generic hefeweizen. Light bodied, slick texture, lively carbonation, abrupt finish. A good deal for $1.99 a bottle, but nothing to get excited about. drowland (8758) - Georgia, USA - JAN 19, 2014
1/19/14. 22oz bottle thanks to PorterPounder! Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head that fades. Mild aroma, lightly spicy, some cream and citrus. Lame flavor, plain pale malts, metallic, mild cream, thin. Meh. HighlanderOne (1330) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Poured from big bottle. Aroma of vanilla, spice, bread and a touch of smoke. Golden with slight head. I taste vanilla cake, yeast, pear, citrus, touch of pepper and honey. Mellows as it warms. We’ll done. DialSquare (5031) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 4, 2014
Bomber from TJ’s in Tally. Sparse note: banana, clove, little bubblegum, wheat. Crisp, straightforward, drinkable. Not bad for 3 bucks. - 7.0 Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - DEC 26, 2013
22oz bomber pours with a coppery to gold body that has a slight haze and supports really no head at all. The aroma offers up grainy wheat, some lemon and sweet banana. The taste starts with grainy malts, wheat notes and some sharp lemon like citrus. In the background is a faint sweet banana note. This is a pretty nice hefe.
