Poured a slightly hazy, light golden color with a decent sized head that quickly dissipates. Slight aroma of banana bread. Yeastiness comes through more so on the tongue. Slight banana aftertaste. Pretty light and easy to drink. Not a great hefeweizen.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, grains, cloves, banana, citrus, yeast, very basic hefe, but at the right price.

Bottle from Trader Joes. Smells like yeast and wheat. Taste a little like wheat, kind of bland. One inch white head. Not real smooth on the palate. Oveall this is an average beer.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Trader Joe’s. Aroma is mix of sweet and tart fruits, particularly banana. Appearance is cloudy light brown-orange with minimal sparkle at sides of glass, thin white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Taste is as aroma with sweet fruit/banana dominating over tart. Palate is medium bodied with thin, foamy texture, soft carbonation and fruity/tart finish. Overall, true to the style. Solid, if not fantastic.

Pours a hazy gold-orange. A strong sweet orange, wheat, and yeast aroma. A sweet citrus flavor with pine, wheat, yeast and some spices. A lingering dry yeast aftertaste, but sweet with some orange.

650ml bottle on my daughters patio in Laguna Niguel on 26th April 2016. A whole lot better beer than I expected when she told me how much it cost her. Anyway I poured it into an Erdinger Weissbier glass (twice), it looked fine, a murky, dull orange body with a large snowy white crown on each pour. Yeasty nose and flavours with mild orange led citrus notes, no world beater, but very good for the price.

Big bottle. Nice example of the style, decent Hefeweizen. Absolutely solid, not exceptional.

A nice-looking brew and bottle. Nothing much here for the nose. This is a sweet, smooth hefe, with some similarity to a lager. I prefer them drier myself, but this went down pretty well. There is a dash of citrus to this. It is kind of a Corona-like hefeweizen, if you can believe that. Pretty good.

bottle. Golden with a light haze and one finger head. Aboverage for an American hefe, with moderate banana and light spice. Not as flavorful as some of the better German hefes, but this was a cheap bomber at Trader Joes, so it’s hard to talk much shit about it.

Bottled 6/10/15, drunk 1/3/15.
Good enough pour, fairly hazy, though not fully cloudy (not rousing the sediment) with a moderate white head with medium-to-medium-low retention.
Smells like tangerine, banana, strong cream of wheat and bubble gum in the nose. A little bit sloppy/aggressively estered and some definite alcohol and light metallic notes, but overall not to bad all things considered ($1.99 bomber....).
Simple in the flavor, with some honey and bread-like sweetness, but not cloying or syrupy, with ample carbonation and lots of orange, bubble gum and light banana. Some sharp, acidic and fusel-like notes with a touch of dirtiness, but certainly passable.
