Not a typical hefe not much in the way of banana or clove, but lots of orange. Crisp, fruity, and really delicious. The 22 oz bottle from Trader Joe’s went fast - almost too fast. kirk36 (223) - Peabody, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 29, 2013
22oz bomber from Trader Joes. Cheap. Great value beer! Taste was agreeable. Nice grapefruit forward sweetness. Perfect hefe.

Had a nice,pleasant wheat beer taste.One of the best I’ve tasted.Has a tad too heavy bodies for a wheat.but still very good.Not bad at Trader Joe’s! malrubius (3017) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - JUL 20, 2010
22 ounce bottle from Trader Joes in weizen glass. Cloudy orange with lasting dense white head and lace. Clovey aroma with banana bread. Orangey honey vanilla with wheaty tang and mild bitterness in clean finish. NIce effervescence and head retention. Very refreshing. Very good. Funny how Trader Joes "makes" two very good hefe weizens and most US brewers can’t even make one. illinismitty (2377) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 27, 2010
Bottle from Trader Joes in Nashville. Pours a cloudy orange amber with a white head. Banana clove and pale wheat malt aroma. Light bodied with that typical unfiltered mouthfeel. Flavor pale wheat malts, clove, and banana. Yeasty and refreshing finish. What you have here is a very nicely done and balanced Hefe. Erway is right.

bomber @ trader joe’s in roswell, ga. solid beer & a great value! pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. sweet orange aroma with some light yeast notes. medium body with some spice, orange zest, coriander, banana, green grapes and pineapple. smooth up top and carbonated on the bottom. nice flavors throughout. sweet somewhat abrupt finish with more light fruit and spice. very nice Hefeweizen! maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - APR 20, 2012
Pours light and cloudy with a smallish head. Nice floral notes and a great light citrus taste. Pairs well with a hot summer day. Butters (4176) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 16, 2013
Bomber from Trader Joes. Holy shit! This is probably gotta be the hands down best hefe for the money that is out there. Only $2.69?!? It was delicious and refreshing and a pretty spot on example of the style. Now that being said, it is definitely NOT the best hefe i’ve ever had. it is certainly an american imitation of the german style, and they manage to come pretty close. But it is not as peppery or banana/clove as the authentic versions. But for my money, this drink pretty damn good!
